    this information did a great help for me bacause as an education student, the subject “Special Education” has been added to our curriculum and as part of this subject we are obliged to do a group project which is to observe special children so we can learn more regarding with our subject. we are going to observe them and socialize with them so we can feel what they feel. this site is also a great help for the families with special child because they can easily find a school for their child. and through this school, special children will develop their hidden talents or more than that. thanks ang god bless us all.

    May I am inform the National Council on Disability Affairs that Manjuyod SPED Center, Manjuyod District, Division of Negros Oriental is catering children with special needs in 3 years now. Recently,the center is already recognized in the central office. We are proud to say that we are catering children with like FL/GT,LD, HI VI, MR,AU,CP,SD,OH. Equipment wise, we are still behind as compared to those well supported centers in the Philippines. But the Dept. is trying to extend help to us. Hoping the council can help our center too.

    We have a website but as of now we are trying to study on how to paste entries because we are somewhat behind when it comes to the new technologies that we have now.

    Went to Eulogio Rodriguez Integrated School, 07/29/11 and learned of the other SPED schools in Mandaluyong. I requested for the contact numbers of each school (also in your list), but the SPED head of the mentioned school said that she has a copy but someone borrowed it and was not returned. Anyway, I called DEPEd in Pasig and referred me to call Mandaluyong Div. Office (they gave me the number 533-60-85). Then for my inquiry, I was asked to call ASPS (loc. 109). And here, I’m so irritated that they refused to give me the contact numbers of the SPED schools in Mandaluyong unless I will make a formal request letter. What!!!! A request letter for the telephone number, in spite that I already have the list of schools???? It’s easy to compose a request letter but for what reason, what’s the point? Am I a terrorist??? What a waste of time. So simple but I don’t know (and I won’t wonder) why they make it complicated. As a government agency or whatever, do they know what “service” is? or being in a SPED division, they should be more aware of how to be a “blessing”. May God bless the Philippines. May God touch the heart of all government staff especially in SPED for they seem to be the one needing special attention. Yes, from the head of SPED in DepEd Pasig and it’s staff. They seem to have BP.

    mam,gusto q lang po mlaman kung saan po aq pwdeng mag volenteer sa mga batang may kapansan dito lang po sa manila..tapos po aq ng college psyhology at nag wowork n po aq..puwede po aqng mag volenteer pag saturday at sunday pag day off q po..matagal q n pong pangarap at maka tulong sa mga batang may kapansan..pls help me..tnxs po

    I would like to know if there are any sped center or schools in San Juan, Ilocos Sur or nearby towns like Cabugao and Magsinggal or Vigan.
    The speech therapist recommemded my son be enrolled in a sped school. Thank you and God speed.

    i was wondering where can i go to study sign language. i really want to help but since there is a language barrier, I’m having a hard time to do so. i was hoping if anyone can direct me to any schools that provides free classes or seminars. that would be a great help.
