Taking up the challenge to open its doors for students with disabilities, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines hosted an orientation on “Accessible Reading and Publishing for All, through DAISY, E-Pub and other Adoptive Technologies” for its IT officers, librarians, invited publishers and partners, last Wednesday, March 6, 2013.

Launched by the Resources for the Blind and the National Council on Disability Affairs in sync with PUP Vice President Manuel Muhi, all Speakers rallied ‘equitable access to information’, as a tool to ‘make the right to training and education real” for persons with disabilities.
